Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment of the following post at National Rice Research Institute Cuttack (Odisha) under the administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi

General  Instructions:

The Application strictly in the prescribed format and complete in all respect should reach "The Senior Administrative Officer, National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack-753 006 (Odisha" ) by post within 30 (Thirty) days from the date of publication of this advertisement (to be calculated from the first day of the week) in the Employment News. Application received after due date for any reason including postal delay will be summarily rejected without any reference. The application format for submitting application is available in the Institute website  http://www.crri.nic.in . Application not in the prescribed format will be rejected.

Scale of Pay: For the post of Technician (T-1) PB-1 Rs.5200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2000/-. For the post of Technical Assistant (T-3) PB-1 Rs.5200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2800/-.

Age limit : 18-30 years, the crucial date for determining the age limit of the candidates will be the closing date for receipt of applications. Relaxation in age in respect of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen shall be allowed as per Govt. of India Rules. `No age limit for the regular employees of the ICAR.

Relaxation in age in respect of Research Associates and Senior Research Fellow working in time bound Research Projects operational in ICAR shall be allowed for the post of Technical Assistant (T-3) at Sl.No.2 to 7 as per ICAR, New Delhi guidelines vide letter No.19(25)/2011-Estt.IV dated 12.12.2011 read with letter No.19(25)/2011-Estt.IV dated 24.01.2012. RAs/SRFs seeking age relaxation must have to produce original certificate in respect of his/her claim as prescribed in the ICAR guidelines at the time of selection/appointment/interview, failing which, age relaxation will not be given. However, photo copy of such document in support of age relaxation shall invariably have to be attached to the application.

Incomplete application in any respect shall be summarily rejected without any reference. The applications received after due date as well as before publication of this advertisement will not be entertained.

Candidate must submit along with each complete application a Crossed Demand Draft drawn on any scheduled bank for Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only) as application fee (non-refundable) drawn in favour of "ICAR Unit: CRRI" payable at Cuttack. The name of the candidate, father's name and the post applied for should be mentioned on the backside of the Demand Draft. No fee for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Women candidates.

The post is Non-Government but covered under New Pension Scheme as introduced by Govt. of India w.e.f. 01.01.2004 and as applicable to ICAR Society, mutatis mutandis and as amended and modified from time to time.

In case of candidate in employment already, the application should be routed through proper channel. A copy of “No objection certificate” from their present employer must be attached with the application, without which the candidature shall not be considered.

The candidate invariably should submit a declaration (Sl.No.18 of the Application format) stating whether he/she is related to any employee of CRRI/ICAR. If, yes, the name & designation with address of the employee and the nature of relationship against Sl.No.18 of the Application format must be mentioned.

Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not confer any right to be called for written test.

Separate application should be submitted for each post.

Application not accompanied by the prescribed fee as per requirement or incomplete or defective or unsigned or without declaration or not in the prescribed format or without attested copies of their certificate i.e. without proof of qualification, age, caste certificate etc. shall be summarily rejected without any reference.

Canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification.
