Applications with full bio-data from Indian citizens are invited for the following post at Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati-781016.
Assistant Professor (Nuclear Medicine) (regular full time post) .. 1 (one)
Or,
Medical Officer (Nuclear Medicine) (regular full time post) .. 1 (one)
(in case no suitable candidate is found for the post of Asst. Professor)
Or,
Retainer Consultant (Nuclear Medicine) (contractual full time post).. 1 (one)
(in case no suitable candidate is found for the post of Asst. Professor / Medical Officer)
Eligibility:
- For the post of Assistant Professor (Nuclear Medicine): as per MCI norms.
- For the post of Medical Officer (Nuclear Medicine), MBBS with Diploma in Radiation Medicine (DRM) or PG Degree in relevant field from Recognized University / Board / Institution.
- For the post of Retainer Consultant (Nuclear Medicine), candidate must be a senior faculty with MD or PG Diploma in Nuclear Medicine from a recognized University / Board / Institution.
The candidate for the above posts must be registered with the Medical Council of Indian States / Union Territories.
Preference will be given to the candidate having working experience in the respective fields in recognized institutions.
Residential single / family accommodation available inside hospital premises. Private practice outside hospital working hours is permissible as per existing rules.
Age limit:
The upper age limit will be finalized by the Appointing Authority based on the recommendation of the Selection Committee.
Pay scale:
- For the post of Assistant Professor: AICTE pay scale Rs.15600-39100 + Rs.7000/-(AGP) per month + NPA + applicable allowances.
- For the post of Medical Officer: Rs.12000 - 40000 (PB-4) + Rs. 6400/- (GP) per month
- + applicable allowances.
- For the post of Retainer Consultant: Pay & allowances on negotiable terms.

The original certificates / mark sheets / experience certificates etc. and hard copy of the duly signed application along with a set of photocopies shall be submitted at the time of interview.
The list of eligible candidates will be published in the BBCI website www.bbcionline.org (bulletin section).
The Management of Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute will not be responsible for rejection of applications due to late postal delivery.
The date and time of interview will be intimated to the eligible candidate in due course of time. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
