TANGEDCO Recruitment 2016 – Apply Online for 1475 Technical, Field Asst & Asst Draughtsman Posts: Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO) has released notification for the recruitment of 1475 Technical Assistant (Electrical, Mechanical), Assistant Draughtsman, Field Assistant (Trainee) vacancies through direct recruitment. Eligible candidates registered with Employment Exchange, Retrenched Employees, Ex-Servicemen candidates, employees who have undergone apprenticeship training under the Erstwhile TNEB/ TANGEDCO/ TANTRANSCO may apply online from 07-03-2016 at 09:00 A.M to 21-03-2016  by 11:59 hrs. i. Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 455 Posts
ii. Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering: 35 Posts
iii. Computer Science/ Information Technology: 10 Posts
2. Technical Assistant/ Mechanical: 25 Posts
3. Assistant Draughtsman: 50 Posts
4. Field Assistant (Trainee): 900 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should be minimum of 18 years & should not have completed 30 years as on 01-07-2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering for post 1, 2, ITI Craftsmanship Certificate in the trades of Draughtsman (Civil & Mechanical) for post 3, ITI (National Trade certificate/ National Apprenticeship certificate) in Electrical or Wireman for post 4.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written examination, interview.

Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC, SC (A), ST/ Destitute widow and Differently abled persons) through Online or Offline.

Online Mode: Candidates may pay the fee through the payment gateway in the Canara Bank or Indian Bank.

Offline Mode: Candidates may pay the fee through Challan Indian Bank/ Canara Bank.
