CBSE announced Secondary School (Class 10th) Examination result on 28/05/2015. 

In the year 2015, increased number of examinees had appeared for the CBSE Class 10th result, in comparison to the year 2014. A total of 13,73,853 students had registered for the examination. Previous year CBSE Board 10th result saw better performance by girls than boys. While the pass percentage of girls was 97.82%, it was 96.98% for boys. Though the overall pass percentage was 83.74% but it had dipped by nearly 3% from the year 2014. Girls had outperformed guys in 2015 with pass percentage of 88.34% and 79.73%, respectively.
