North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH), an Autonomous institute newly established at Shillong, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, proposed to engage the services of the following personnel purely on contract basis for a period of one year which may be curtailed at any point of time or extended by the competent authority. Tenure of Medical Officer (Ayurveda) will be only for Six months.

Essential:   a)   Officers   of   the   Central/   State Government/ Autonomous bodies/ Statutory bodies fully funded by the Government and holding Analogous posts OR
Holding the post of Professor or equivalent in Pay Band 4 with Grade pay of Rs 8700 and having 3 yrs regular service in the grade.
And
b)   Possessing   the   following   qualification   and experience:
i)        Post     Graduate      qualification      in    Ayurveda recognized under IMCC Act, 1970.
ii)   20 years standing in profession out of which at least 3 years regular service in Professor grade in a Govt. College/ institution
iii)  Eight year experience in PG teaching.
Desirable:
1.   Ph.D. in Ayurveda
2.   Experience in Research & Administration.

ii.        A recognized degree of MD/MS(Ay) in Kayachikitsa / Kaumarbhritya/ Shalya/ Shalakya/ Prasuti & Stri Roga/ Panchakarma under IMCC Act, 1970
iii.  15 years experience in the profession

iv. Minimum 7 years professional experience in a Govt. institute/ Hospital as Dy. Medical Supt./ Reader after obtaining PG degree.
Desirable:
i.  Ph.D. in Ayurveda and experience in Research.
ii.    Master in Hospital Administration (MHA)/ MBA (HM)/PG Diploma in Hospital Administration (full time 2 years duration) from a recognized institute / university.

How TO Apply:-The selection will be made through Walk-in-interview/ test scheduled to be held at Office of the Director, NEIAH, City Centre, campus of Meghalaya, State Housing Financing Co-operative Society, Nongrim Hill, Near Bethany Hospital, Shillong-793003 from 9:00 AM. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should report for interview/ test by 8:30 AM on 14.09.2016 (for Sl. No of Post 1 to 6 ) and on 15.09.2016 (for Sl. No of Post 7 to 14). Candidates should bring two passport size photographs and original certificates along with photocopy of the same duly self-attested in support of their Age, Qualifications, Registration & Experiences etc. Reservation of post and relaxation of age is applicable as per Govt. of India rule. In case no candidate is found suitable for appointment in the higher post in teaching, the post will be filled up by respective lower level post. Retired person from Central Govt. / State Govt. / Autonomous Organization may apply.
