J & K Police Recruitment 2016 – Apply Online for 5381 Constable Posts: Jammu & Kashmir Police Headquarters has issued a notification for the recruitment of 5381 Constable vacancies in IRP Battalions/ Armed/ Executive Police in various districts. Eligible candidates can apply online from 25-10-2016 to 20-11-2016. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process, application fee & how to apply are given below

J & K Police Vacancy Details:
Total No.of Posts: 5381
Name of the Posts: Constable
1. IRP Battalions: 4340 Posts
2. Armed Police: 386 Posts
3. Executive Police: 655 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-28 years as on 01-01-2016. The upper age limit shall be 37 years & for Ex-servicemen it shall be 48 years.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess matriculation examination or equivalent from any Government recognized board.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on PET, PST & written examination.

Application Fee: Candidates should deposit Rs. 300/- through online or use the services of Common Service Centers & in case of non availability of online payment facility, deposit through Bank Challan.
