Applicaitons are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the following technical posts at ICAR-IISWC, Dehradun and its Reseach Centres under the administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi :-

4.	Hindi Translator (Technical Assistant) Pay Band-1 (Rs.5200- 20200) + Grade Pay Rs.2800/-			Total No. of Post – 01 (UR-01) Location of Post :- Headquartrs, Dehradun	Qualification as Under :-
Bachelor’s degree of a recognised University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject OR Bachelor’s degree of a recognised University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject OR Bachelor’s degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject OR Bachelor’s degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject OR Bachelor’s degree of a recognised University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as comulsory or elective subject AND Recognised Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & Vice Versa or two years’experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government office, including Government of India undertaking.

Age Limit :- 18-30 years. The age relaxation upto 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC will be given only against reserved posts for the respective categories. The age relaxation for the post reserved for Ex-servicemen will be granted for the period of military service plus three years as per rules. There is no age limit for ICAR employee. Reseach Associates/Senior Research Fellows presently engaged in different projects in ICAR Institutes will be given age relaxation only for the post of Technical Assistant as per ICAR rules. The  Crucial date for determining the age limit, qualification, caste etc. shall be the closing date of receipt of application.

General Instructions for Candidates And How To Apply

• The post is non-Government under Indian Council of Agricultural Research which is an autonomous body fully funded by Govt. of India. The posts will be governed by New Pension Scheme introduced by Govt. of India w.e.f 01.01.2004.
• Last date for receipt of application is within 30 days of publication of this advertisement in Employment News and 45 days from the candidates of North Eastern Region, Andaman and Nicobar islands.
• Applications should be submitted by post only strictly in the prescribed format (typewritten with latest passport size photograph) alongwith application fee and attested copies of educational/ experience certificate/Age/Caste and status of Ex-servicemen etc. addressed  to the Dierctor, ICAR-Indian Institute of  Soil & Water Conservation, 218- Kaulagarh Road, Dehradun- 248 195 (Uttarakhand) within due date.
• The application fee (Non-Refundable under any circumstances) is Rs.300/- for each application to be paid through Demand Draft of Rs.300/- in favour of Director, ICAR-IISWC, Dehradun. SC/ST and women candidates are exempted from paying application fee as per rules.
• The   envelope   containing   application   should   be   superscribed   as   “Application   for   the   post            of
• .......................Sl.No............... at ICAR – IISWC, Dehradun” as given in the advertisement failing which it will be rejected.

• The candidate seeking age relaxation under SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen categories against the reserved posts are required to attach the attested copies of relevant certificate issued by the  concerned competent authority in proforma prescribed by the Govt. of India.
• The qualifications prescribed should have been obtained through recognized Universities/Institutions.
• The prescribed qualification are minimum requirement and enhanced qualification does not entitle the candidates to be called for written test.
• The post is temporary but likely to continue. The selected candidates will be posted at respective places mentioned against each post. However, they will be liable to serve anywhere in India.
• There will be a written test for the above posts. The Centre for written test  for all the above posts shall be at Dehradun (Uttarakhand). However, the Director may conduct written test at Research Centres/nearby places after taking into consideration the number of application received from candidates. The exact details of the examination centre will be intimated to the candidate in the admission card for written test.
• After written test, the result will be published on Institute’s website according to the available vacancies at the Institute/Research Centre on the basis of the merit and taking into account the orders for reservation for SC/ST/OBC issued by the Government.
• There will be no interview for the above posts 13.No TA/DA will be paid for attending written test.
• Applicants who are already in service should route their applications through their present employer with vigilance/disciplinary clearance certificate and that the applicant will be relieved of his/her duties within one month of receipt of appointment order.
• Application not accompanied by the prescribed fee or incomplete or defective or unsigned declaration or without attested copies of certificates and received after due date for any reason including postal delay shall be summarily rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
• Applicant must submit a declaration as to whether he is related to any employees of this Institute or the ICAR and, if so, name the persons and describe the nature of his/her relationship in the application form.

• The Director, ICAR-IISWC, Dehradun reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies, change the location of post, change any of the conditions, cancel the advertisement and reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof, whatsoever.
