Applications are invited in the prescribed format neatly hand written in the candidate's handwriting on the plain paper for appointment to vacant posts of peon of Class-IV grade employees.

3.	A candidate must be :	(i)	A Citizen of India
		(ii)	Medically fit
		(iii)	of a good character.
4.	Essential Qualification :

The candidate must be literate and must have working knowledge of both Hindi and English Languages, including reading and writing in the said languages. Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the Interview only to be conducted by the Appointment Committee and thereafter the appointment shall be made by the appointment authority.

The candidate must also be physically fit so as to under take strenuous work and must know to ride a bicycle.

Pay Scale :

5200 – 20200 with grade pay – 1650 for Non-matric candidates.

 5200 – 20200 with grade pay – 1800 for Matric pass candidates.

Age Limit :

Minimum Age Limit as on 01.03.2016           -           18 years for all categories.

Maximum Age Limit as on 01.03.2016 as follows :

Unreserved          (Male)    -           37 years.

B.C. / O.B.C. (Male & Female) -  40 years.

Unreserved  (Female) -  40 years.

S.C. / S.T. (Male & Female)    -  42 years.

In case of departmental  candidate, however,  the maximum age bar shall be relaxed by the number of years he had been in actual service as an  employee of the state govt. for similar posts.

General Conditions :

• Candidates in Govt. / Public undertaking service must submit their applications through proper channel.

• The prescribed  educational qualification is minimum and more possessions of the same does not entitle any candidate to be called for the test. The District  Judge  reserves  the  right  of  scrutinies  the  applications  of  the candidates on the basis of qualification and / or experience or working in similar capacity in the State / Central Govt. offices / undertaking.

• In case, it is detected at any stage that the candidates does not fulfill the eligibility criteria and / or has furnished incorrect information or suppressed any material information , his or her candidature / selection will be liable to be cancelled.

• Above mentioned number of vacancies shall be reserved for the members of the  Scheduled  Caste  and  Scheduled  Tribe  and  Backward  Class,  Other Backward Class and Physically Handicapped as per the policy decision of the State of Bihar. Benefit of reservation will be given to only those candidates who are permanent resident of Bihar. At the time of Interview, certificate of Permanent Domicile of Bihar is to be furnished by the candidate.

• In case of conviction in any case, his / her candidature shall be cancelled.

Two recent passport size photographs, one each affixed on the space provided in the application form and on it's enclosure (Admit Card Form) which must be attested by a gazetted officer.

• The candidates are required to attach attested copy of certificate in proof of their age.

• The candidates are required to enclose copy of caste certificate granted by the competent authority in respect of scheduled caste / scheduled tribe, B.C./ O.B.C. candidates only.

• Eligible candidates are required to appear for viva-voce / personality test and interview.

• Complete application in all respects, accompanied by the two self addressed envelope of 9'' × 4'' size affixed with proper registered postal stamp should be enclosed with the application. Candidate employed under Central Govt. / Govt. undertaking must submit their applications with requisite enclosures to the undersigned through proper channel.

• Incomplete applications / defective applications and / or application received after expiry of the last date due to postal delay will not be entertained.

• The last date of receipt of the application is 08.04.2016 upto 05:30 P.M.

• The post applied for must be indicated at the top of the envelope.

• No T.A. will be permissible to appear at the test / interview.

• Complete application will be received in the office of the District & Sessions Judge, Madhubani through registered post only.

• The candidates who have already applied for the post of peon against Advertisement Notice No. 01 / 2010 in the year of 2010, need not require to apply again.
