IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:

The applicants must fulfil the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement. No enquiries for advice on eligibility conditions shall be entertained.

Submission of Application Form:
2.1
The application form should be filled in by the candidate and signed in full. This shall be treated          as original application.
2.2
Applications incomplete in any respect will not be considered.
2.3
Persons already in service should submit their applications through proper channel. While forwarding applications of in-service candidates, Head of the Institution should certify that the applicants are free from vigilance angle and that no case of disciplinary proceedings are either pending or contemplated against the candidate.
2.4
In case of anticipated delay in getting the endorsement of the employer  concerned  on  the original application, applicants in service may submit Advance Copy of the application with all enclosures.
2.5
If the in-service applicant fails to route the original application through proper channel by the last date mentioned in the employment notification, the applicant  will have  to submit ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ obtained from his / her employer to the University at the time of the test, without which he/she will not be allowed for the test.
2.6
The filled in application along with a passport size colour photograph (pasted in the space provided on the application) and self-attested legible copies of certificates of educational qualifications, date of birth, experience & caste etc. is to be submitted in a sealed cover superscribed as “Application for the post of …………………………………………. Last date for receipt of application in the University of Hyderabad is 8th  April, 2016 by
04:00 pm. Applications received after the last date due to postal delay or any other reason(s), shall be summarily rejected and no further correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. Candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba  District  of  Himachal  Pradesh,  Andaman  and  Nicobar  Islands,  Lakshadweep  and

Application Processing Fee
3.1
Application should be accompanied with a processing fee (non-refundable) in the form of a Demand Draft only, drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, payable at Hyderabad, Telangana.
3.2
Processing fee - Rs. 300/-  for all categories.
3.3
Candidates applying for more than one post should enclose separate demand drafts for each post.






3.4

Applications not accompanied by the full prescribed fee in the form of demand draft will not be considered and will be summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained.
3.5
The fee sent through Money Order, Indian Postal Orders, Crossed Cheques, Currency Notes and Treasury Challans will not be accepted by the University and such applications will be treated as without fee and will be summarily rejected.

SPECIAL  INSTRUCTIONS:
4.1
Only such persons who have not less than 40% of relevant disability are eligible to be considered as per the persons with Disabilities (Equal opportunities, Protection of Rights & Full participation) Act, 1995.
4.2
Visually handicapped candidates with disability of forty percent and above can avail the assistance of a SCRIBE for the written examination provided by the University, subject to such requests are made in the application form.
Question Paper shall NOT be provided in braille and there will be no option for answering in braille.
4.3
Persons with visual disability of less than  forty percent will not be considered as visually handicapped persons. One-eyed candidates and partially blind candidates who are able to read the normal question paper set for all the candidates with or without magnifying glass and who wish to write/indicate the answer with the help of a magnifying glass will be allowed to use the magnifying glass in the examination hall and will not be entitled for a scribe. Such candidates will have to bring their own magnifying glass to the examination hall.
4.4
The candidates should furnish medical certificates issued by the competent authority as proof of their disability. If the Disability certificate is in a language other than English / Hindi, the candidates should submit a self-certified translated copy of the same in English or Hindi along with the photo copy of the certificate in local language.
4.5
Persons who are otherwise qualified to hold clerical posts but are certified as being unable to type by the medical board attached to Special Employment Exchange for the Handicapped (or by a Civil Surgeon where there is no such board ), are exempted from passing the typing test. For this purpose, such candidates are required to produce a medical certificate in the prescribed format from the medical authorities. The term ‘Physically Handicapped Persons’ does not cover those who are visually handicapped or who are hearing handicapped but covers only those, whose physical disability permanently prevents them from typing.
4.6
The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for PWD’s belonging to SC / ST category and upto 3 years for OBC category. Any other age relaxation shall be as per Government of India guidelines.





4.7
Caste Certificate : The candidates should clearly state to which category they belong. They should also enclose a certificate issued by M.R.O. / competent authority as proof to this effect, without which the applications will not be considered.
4.8
If the SC/ST/ OBC certificates are in a language other than English/ Hindi, the candidates are required to submit a self-certified translated copy of the same in English or Hindi along with the photo copy of the certificate in local language.
4.9
Candidates belonging to OBC, should submit an attested copy of certificate of Creamy Layer- exclusion in the prescribed form issued by Competent Authority, vide Column 3 of GOI, Deptt. of Personnel and Training O.M. No. 36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 8.9.1993 and modified vide DOPT’s O.M.No. 36033/3/204-Estt.(Res) dated 9.3.2004, without which applications will not be considered.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

The candidate is liable to be disqualified/ terminated at any stage of the recruitment process or after recruitment or on joining, if any information / document provided by the candidate is false or is not found to be in conformity with the eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification.

The application form received unsigned or without copy of necessary  documents/  proof  to clearly establish his/her eligibility or received after the last date prescribed for receipt of application form will be rejected.
4
Category (SC/ST/OBC/ Ex-servicemen) once filled in the application form will not be changed and no benefit of other category will be admissible later on.

Those who are joining the University service on or after 1st January 2004 are covered under new pension scheme. However, employees who entered in service before 31.12.2003 and who were governed by the CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 shall be eligible for the GPF-cum-Pension- cum-Gratuity scheme subject to fulfilment of the conditions prescribed.

The eligibility of candidates will be determined on the basis of age & qualifications / experience acquired by them, as on the last date prescribed for receipt of applications. The qualification/ experience will be reckoned as on the last date specified in the notification.

The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same will not entitle him / her to being called for the test. The University reserves the right to restrict the no. of candidates to be called for the test on the basis of their qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed as decided by a duly constituted Screening Committee. Call letters for attending the test will be sent only to the short-listed candidates by Speed Post or Registered Post or Courier Service. No correspondence will be made with applicants who are not short-listed.

Canvassing  in  any  form  on  behalf  of  any  candidate  shall render  such  candidate,  liable  for disqualification.

The University reserves the right to cancel the notification / recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reasons.

Selection will be made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the test.

In case of any disputes/suits or legal proceedings against the University, the jurisdiction shall be restricted to the courts in Hyderabad.
