An official declaration by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has confirmed that the ceremonial declaration of the result for Class 12th Board examination is going to be held on 21 April 2016. Candidates can access the same at the official website 10 am onwards.
The CGBSE Board Exam 2016 has witnessed nearly 2.7 lakh examinees. This figure reveals that the number of examinees has increased since the previous year. The examination for CGBSE Class 12th Exam is usually conducted in the month of February/ March. This year the examination started on 23 February 2016 with its first paper as Environmental Science and ended on 14 March 2016 with Geography paper. Since the last day of the examination (14 March 2016) candidates have been nervously waiting for their result. And if reports are to be believed, the long wait will come to an end on 21 April 2016 with the announcement of CG Board 12th Result 2016.
The CGBSE 12th Result 2016 is of prime importance for the students; firstly, because of its competitive nature and secondly, because of its vitality for getting into higher education. The pass certificates and performance in this examination is very crucial for enrolling in the next level of education system i.e. undergraduate courses. Previous year, the result was declared on 21 April 2015 for over 2 lakh candidates. While the topper of the State scored 97.60%, the overall pass percentage was 73.35. CGBSE Result 2015 witnessed a positive growth in the performance of the candidates in comparison to its previous year. Taking this trend into consideration, the Board is anticipating an increase in the overall pass percentage than the previous year.
